The contai ners are moved via transfer cars betw een the discharge bins of the rotary kilns and the take over points underneath one of the four hoists. These hoists lift the containers and position them above the furnace bin with a de mand for calcine for discharge. Each two hoists are serving one bin line of both electric furnaces.

The slag pot will be picked up with the integrated dumping arms, lowered and dumped. The carrier moves under the furnace and lifts the pots without additional lifting equipment.
